Started in 1914 and affiliated in 1931, the Mission branch conducts
the following:

A high school with a roll strength of 702
-
Two units of junior basic school with 334 boys and 113 girls
-
A students' home with 134 boys
-
A library and free reading room with about 9000 books,
-
A charitable dispensary with allopathic and homoeopathic sections treating
about 55,800 cases annually, and
-
A diary farm
Formally inaugurated in 1986, the Match centre conducts the following:
-
Daily worship, regular religious discourses and occasional lectures,
-
A small library and reading-room with about 2700 books,
-
Birthday celebrations of Sri Ramakrishna, the Holy Mother, Swami Vivekananda
and other religious celebrities, and
-
A three-day annual devotees' meet.

Our Appeal
The Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Midnapore, since its inception, has
been developed by degrees with help from the generous public & devotees
who sincerely love the sacred ideals of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother &
Swamiji. We once again appeal to them for financial assistance for the
implementation of the above programmes.
For donation above Rs. 30000/-, we shall be glad to inscribe a plaque
in loving memory of the donor's near and dear ones. Donation to Ramakrishna
Math & Ramakrishna Mission are exempt from Income Tax. Cheques &
Drafts may please be drawn in favour of Ramakrishna Mission
Ashrama, Midnapore or Ramakrishna Math, Midnapore.
