An appeal from the Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Mangalore, India
Dear friend,
"Men, men are wanted; everything else will be ready; but strong, vigorous, believing young men and women; a hundred such I can revolutionise the entire world" said Swami Vivekananda a hundred years ago and the same holds good even today.
In an endeavour to mould the younger generation to this ideal we are conducting various programmes, as can be browsed from our website at in spiritual, educational and cultural fields, with the limited resources presently available with us. (You can know about us from www.ramakrishnamath-mlore.org. While the response from the general public, particularly from the teachers and student community is overwhelming, for lack of infrastructure we are unable to match their enthusiasm and persistent hanker for more of these. We therefore, are venturing into an ambitious project of constructing a fully equipped Auditorium and Library Building to meet this growing demand.
The proposed "Auditorium" will be used for:
Estimated cost of the building : Rs. 40,00,000/-
Revered Swami Tattwabodhanandaji Maharaj, laid the foundation stone for the proposed building on 11th December, 1999 when he came to inaugurate the newly constructed bookstall at a cost of 11 lakh rupees.
We have no other choice but to have recourse to the generous section of the society and earnestly appeal to you to extend your co-operation by donating liberally for this worthy cause.
Donations to the Ramakrishna Mission are exempt from Income Tax under section 80-G of the Income Tax Act 1961.
Anticipating your active support for this noble cause,
Yours in the Lord
Swami Purnakamananda
